How it works

One roll, six steps

The whole service is a loop: something physical leaves you, something digital comes back, and every part of Chase&Keep sits on one side of that loop or the other.

01

Pick a lab and a service

Ten labs, each with its own prices, turnaround and rating. Filter by what you shoot — C-41, black & white, E-6, 35mm, 120, sheet. You are choosing a business, not joining a queue.

02

Tell us what is on the roll

Film stock, how many rolls, whether it needs pushing or pulling, the scan resolution you want, and whether the negatives come back to you. Priced as you go, in your own currency.

03

Post it

We generate the label the moment you pay — Royal Mail Tracked in the UK, USPS in the States. Print it at home or have one posted to you. Drop it in a postbox.

04

Watch it move

Received, in the tank, drying, on the scanner. Every step timestamped. If something needs saying — a stock you forgot to mention, a frame you care about — message the lab from inside the order.

05

Scans land in your gallery

Full resolution, the moment they are ready, with a notification. Download the roll or pull single frames. They stay in your gallery until you delete them.

06

Keep what deserves keeping

Order darkroom or archival prints straight from the scans. Negatives arrive back separately if you asked. And when the camera itself is the thing you want, that is the other half of the name.

What it costs

The lab’s price, plus postage, plus our fee. Every line is itemised before you pay, and the fee is calculated at checkout rather than baked into the lab’s number.

If something goes wrong

Cancel any time before it ships and the refund is automatic. If a label has already been bought and cannot be voided, only the postage is held back.

Where we operate

United Kingdom, United States, Germany and the Netherlands. Prices are set per country in the local currency — never an exchange-rate guess on top of a dollar figure.
